Nicky Hilton to Launch Clothing Line at Tokyo Girls Collection

Nicky Hilton isn't just an heiress with a famous last name, she's a reputable designer with a fashion background.

Nicky's fashion lines Chick and Nicholai are doing so well, she's planning on launching her collection overseas at the semi-annual Tokyo Girls Collection in Japan.

“I think I got inspired in Japan a lot,” Hilton, 25, told People magazine at the 2009 NBA Championship Victory Celebration hosted by the Los Angeles Lakers.

"I am launching at Tokyo Girls Collection, which is in an arena with 24,000 people. I have been trying to wrap it up and get the samples set out.”

The great thing about the arena is that "The girls, actually, as the models come down the runway, are shopping, buying clothes,” she says of the show that is set to take place this September. “It’s cool.”
