Nicole Kidman Does it All Wrong at 2011 CMT Awards

Nicole Kidman went to the CMT Music Awards last night looking like the Queen of Emerald City.

The bizarre asymmetrical shiny tree inspired get-up was what she wore to support her hubby Keith Urban at the awards show.

The dress was from the Proenza Shoulder Fall 2011 collection, but looked more like an installation piece from a college art show titled “When Drugs and Velour Collide.”

The dress features navy and green horizontal velour stripes on the top with brown zig zags near the waist and ending in a sheer piece of fabric draped about her legs. I also just described Picasso painting a mermaid.

She paired the dress with some lilac strappy heels, which didn’t make any sense with the upper half of her body. I’m guessing she bought the dress and the shoes separately. Or blindfolded. #ModaCRASH!
