Fashionista and new star of reality show “Fashion Star” covers “C” mag and talks fashion, family and fame. Also, let’s talk about her blonde tresses in her cover photo. Her hair looks great, it’s very Hilary Duff-y and I love it.

Moving on. Nicole Richie used to be a small-time reality star and celeb BFF, but now she’s turning into fashion mogul with her two fashion lines, Winter Kate and House of Harlow 1960.

“There are people who’ve supported my dreams overall, and I’m so thankful for them. But it’s still a new business, and there are challenges every day. It’s definitely a lot of work, but I thrive on being challenged. I want to learn more and more every day,” says Richie.

So we must know, how do you have two clothing lines, two kids, and still manage to hit up red carpet events and shoot magazine covers?

“I can’t sit here and say that it’s easy all day long,” says Richie, “I’m just figuring out how to make it work. But I really don’t have anything to complain about. I have a very supportive family and husband and that makes it so much easier.”

Also, since “C” magazine stands for “California Style” and Nicole Richie is a born-and-bred Los Angeleno, she talks up the West Coast.

“I’m a California cheerleader,” says Richie, “I love the people and the weather. I love my personal space, and the older you get and once you start having children, you really appreciate that. It’s my home. I have history here. I have a lot of inspirations.”
