Nicole Scherzinger Named New Face of London Fog

Nicole Scherzinger has had a busy week, she lost one love and gained another. Nicole and her longtime love Lewis Hamilton split a week ago, and just today she was announced the new face of London Fog.

The 'X Factor' judge replaces 'Mad Men' actress Christina Hendricks to appear in the latest campaign for the fashion house and says it's a dream come true because she really does love trench coats. See, lost one love, gained another.

The former Pussycat Dolls singer said: "I love trench coats and London Fog coats are timeless."

"Christina Hendricks was fantastic for us, but she was more classic and tailored. Nicole is a little more modern and contemporary. She has a really fierce sense of style," said Dari Marder, chief marketing officer at Iconix Brand Group, which owns London Fog. "With 'X Factor,' this is her moment and it brings the brand to the forefront of the consumer's mind."

Nicole was chosen because she embodying "confidence, sexiness, sophistication ... and the effortless glamour and style of London Fog," says the label's CEO.

Nicole gained international fame for being in the Pussycat Dolls, but she admits her style has changed in the past few years.

She said: "My style has evolved into being a little bit more grown up. It's rock 'n' roll inspired, but chic. Glam rock.

"If I wear a lace dress I throw on a leather jacket to toughen things up, or some crazy boots. I like dresses that are sassy, but have clean lines."

In more Nicole news, rumor has it that the X-Factor hottie has been quietly seeing singer Drake after they were spotted trying to avoid the paparazzi at a restaurant.

Global Grind report that Drake and Nicole were spotted at the Cecconi restaurant in West Hollywood last night and did their best to avoid the waiting paps. Drake left the restaurant first looking relaxed, while Nicole followed shortly after.

Nicole and her longtime beau Lewis split last week after four years together due to their hectic schedules, so Nicole could just be catching up with old friends.
