Diddy Hires Kelly Rowland
P. Diddy launches new business ventures as often as he changes his name. His newest addition to the Sean Combs brand is his new fragrance for women.

The fragrance is called "Empress", and unlike other artists with opposite gender brands (*cough cough* Justin Bieber is the face of his own LADIES perfume!) P.Diddy got an actual female to front his new fragrance.
Katy Perry Named New Face of Proactiv
Katy Perry can kiss her blemishes goodbye! Not that we have ever seen a single pimple on her face….

The pop singer has been named the brand new face of Proactiv Solution, the world’s best-selling pimple-fighting beauty regimen.

The company has always employed big-name celebrities to be their sponsors, including Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore, and even P. Diddy!

WWD reports that Katy, The Office star Jenna Fischer, and Avril Lavigne have all been added to Proactiv’s lineup of famous pitchpeople.

Company executive Ben Van de Bunt assures that the new gig will be worth the ladies’ whiles. He says, “We are paying people consistently with what we have done in the past, which is millions of dollars.”

Must be nice to be a celebrity! Perry, Lavigne, and Fischer’s new gig will last at least a year, and expect to see the ads airing worldwide, as the line is carried in more than 58 countries. Visit wwd.com to learn more.

Stars Rock the Red Carpet in Loree Rodkin
Stars flocked to the BET Awards on Sunday to celebrate those in the music industry, as well as pay tribute to the late Michael Jackson. And they definitely did it in style!

One designer who was featured all over the red carpet last night was Loree Rodkin. P. Diddy, Queen Latifah, and Cassie were just a few of the stars rocking Loree’s blinged-out looks last night.

We’ll start with Diddy, who almost blinded us with his all-pave diamond link watch he donned on his left hand. Then there was Queen Latifah, whose pave hollow skull necklace sparkled on stage, off-setting her rockin’ silver leather jacket.

Zoe Saldana opted for Loree-created Super Cigar Band Ring with black and rose-colored diamonds. Meagan Good amped up her look with fancy wiry hoop earrings and a large marquise diamond ring. Finally, Cassie, who always rocks the red carpet, donned a large rectangular multi-diamond ring on her left hand.

Loree Rodkin is definitely one of our favorite jewelry designers. Her designs are a cross between modern and medieval in her couture collections. Loree made history when she designed Michelle Obama’s innaugural jewelry, which will now be in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian.

Loree has also crafted pieces for many of Hollywood"s brightest stars, among them Cher, Madonna, Sir Elton John and on..... Loree’s design empire encompasses fragrances, candles and eye couture. Her collections can be found in specialty boutiques world wide.

Diddy Casting New Face of Sean John

P. Diddy is currently looking for the new face of his clothing line, Sean John.

He launched an online competition, and announced via his Twitter page, “Attention all aspiring male models! I am looking for the new face of Sean John.”

Prospective models had all of last week to upload pictures of themselves, and today he’s whittling it down to the top 50. Diddy is calling this campaign Faces of the Future.

The winner will launch Sean John’s forthcoming Fall/Winter 2009 collection. Fans can begin voting for their favorite candidate, so click here to check out the contenders.
Notorious Fashion!

The stars were out for the New York City Premiere of "Notorious" last night and although many stars took the carpet, we are here to report that there were no "Notorious" fashion mishaps.

Angela Bassett proved she was no Bassett Hound in a Polka Dot Dress. The dress had a really busy pattern but the star pulled off the look in spades, with simple hair and jewelry.

Ciara punched up what could have been a boring black outfit, by using fashion's favorite secret weapon...leopard Louboutins.

Usually Beyonce can do no wrong on the red carpet, but we are kind of on the fence about her sea green concoction last night.

The not so single lady was in head-to-toe pea green color and it kind of made us a little uneasy.

P. Diddy represented the boys club in a very dapper suit with some serious bling on each ear and to top the night off a casual Mary J. Blige showed up in a cognac leather Jacket, adding a casual twist to the premiere.

Stars Look Muy Caliente for the Re-opening of Fontainebleau
Some very fashionable stars hit the re-opening of the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach over the weekend. Hollywood's usual red carpet suspects descended upon South Beach and clearly filled the over head compartments to the brim.

Paris Hilton hit the red carpet looking amazing in a sequined dress, bringing some serious...um...sunshine to the sunshine state.

Kim Kardashian took a more demure turn in a perfect example of a black cocktail dress. Martha Stewart was also showing some Miami glitz as she helped re-open the hotel.

Gwyneth Paltrow made a rare Miami appearance in a great white dress with a pair of dark brown leather Ferragamo platform sandals.

The men held down the fort as well. P Diddy, no stranger to Miami, showed up black tie ready, a strong comparison to Brody Jenner's umm shall we say, more casual look.

Diddy Buys Enyce

P. Diddy is definitely not feeling the economic crisis that has affected most Americans. Because he has just purchased fashion company Enyce for $20 million. Not too shabby. Apparently that was a total steal, seeing that the previous owners, Claiborne, bought Enyce for $114 million.

Diddy says of his new venture:

"Enyce is a brand that I have always admired, and they have been a very important player in the young men's sportswear arena for over a decade. I am really excited to bring it into our portfolio of brands that already includes Sean John and Zac Posen. Given our track record of success in marketing products such as Ciroc Vodka, Unforgivable by Sean John, and all of our television titles, I look forward to adding our expertise to an already hot fashion line. Our long-term plan is to grow the Enyce brand through innovative marketing, expansion of the menswear and boy's lines, and launching into new licensing categories."

Well everything he does turns to gold, so we have only high hopes for him turning this line around and making it relevant again. Diddy also addressed the state of the world right now, saying, "The current economic climate may be challenging, but we believe it is also an opportunity, and we are really excited to add Enyce to our line."
Diddy Suing Cufflink Company
Diddy has gone a little overboard on this one. He's suing a cufflink company because their name is too similar to his. You're probably wondering which name he's referring to. Sean Combs? No. P. Diddy? No. Puff Daddy? That's the one!

The company's name is Cuff-Daddy, and Diddy thinks that's a little too similar to one of his alternate personality's names. That poor company!

They probably don't make a hundredth of what Diddy makes, and it's a really clever name! They're trying to resolve the issue with Diddy's legal team and insist they're not trying to bank off him.
Diddy Wants To Make Clothes With David Beckham
Diddy has some crushes going on right now. He just announced that he wants to work with Leona Lewis, and now he wants David Beckham. Ok, not in the way we want him. Diddy wants to collaborate with David on a fashion line. He loves Becks' style so much that he figured why not?

Diddy says, "What a stylish guy. I'd love to do a fashion range with David Beckham. He's a good friend and is very kind. Us two together doing business would be amazing.

"I heard he is doing a shoe range with Snoop. That's cool, but I would love to do fashion with David. I already have a fragrance and clothing line, but I'd love my next project to include him. Perhaps we could collaborate to do something for charity."

Uh, oh! Sounds like Diddy has a little man crush!
Diddy's Clothing Line Is Like Fashion Viagra

P. Diddy compares his clothing line to a certain little blue pill. He says that and his signature fragrance help men to perform a little better in the bedroom.

He says, "Sean Jean is fashion Viagra. I've had 40 year-old men tell me tha tonce they started wearing Sean Jean, everything changed for them, including their sex life."

He adds that although he loves his own fragrance Unforgivable Woman, the bet scent is human.

"You shouldn't be showered in anything - a little of your own sweet-and-sour is the best mix."

No thanks, Diddy! But we'll inform our men about the benefits of Sean John!
