DJ Pauly D from Jersey Shore has a clothing line called Dirty Couture and he’s looking for interns! If you want to rub elbows with shore royalty you might want to apply.
Pauly D posted a craigslist ad that says, “Want to help DJ Pauly D launch his clothing line, Dirty Couture? We are looking for guys and girls in the NYC/NJ area…Must be enrolled in college for the Fall 2011 semester or just graduated from college…Please send resume an photo to us…”
This should be re-titled “So you think you can bone Pauly D?” Seriously, what self respecting fashion entrepreneur is going to answer this call?
Pauly D’s clothing line is mostly tanks and v-necks that say things like “Keep it Dirty” and “Dope Sh-t.” And he’s trying to sell these to people over the age of 14?
The women’s clothing are mostly tanks he stretched out to turn into dresses. It’s like he raided J Woww’s closet and found all the clothes labeled “for the garage sale.”
Dirty Couture’s slogan is “Inspiring a lifestyle for an underground generation who seeks individuality through a musically infused self expressive style.” Say whaaaa? Did Pauly D put all those words together? In that order?
He’s not the first cast member to launch a clothing line. Vinny had a t-shirt line called IHAV where he made shirts that said “F-ck Bullies.” J Woww had a short-lived line of clothing called “Filthy Couture” that looked like clothes you might find at stores called Stylez4Less.
Sammi “Sweetheart” has launched a collection of jewelry for RichRocks that consist of heart-shaped necklaces and Snooki had a flip-flop collection with prints of pickles on them.
