As spokeswoman for the brand, Latifah wore all CoverGirl last night. Her makeup artist Monifa Mortis tells us, “Queen Latifah looked rock star glam for last night’s American Idol Gives Back! I wanted her beauty look to be sexy and funky, and translate to the young audience that was tuned in to last night’s show. Since Queen had an understated hairstyle, I wanted to have fun with her makeup and really glam it up.”
For her face, Mortis applied http://www.covergirl.com/products/product.jsp?productId=queen_collec_bro... " target="_blank"> CoverGirl Queen Collection Natural Hue Minerals Bronzer to give her an extra healthy glow. To add some contouring and depth around Queen’s temples and cheekbones, she used the http://www.covergirl.com/products/product.jsp?productId=queen_collec_pre... " target="_blank"> Natural Hue Minerals Pressed Powder in Ebony.
To create that rock star glam look, she tells Hollyscoop, “I created a colorful smoky eye on Queen with a dark green cream base. I then applied a light layer of a black cream shadow like CG Smoky ShadowBlast in Onyx Smoke to really smoke it out and give her eye a smoldering look. To further accentuate her eyes, I added a tiny amount of purple cream shadow in the corner of her eyes like CG Smoky ShadowBlast in Purple Plume to make them pop on camera. I then finished her eye look with two coats of http://www.covergirl.com/products/product.jsp?productId=lashblast_fusion... " target="_blank"> CG LashBlast Fusion mascara for dramatic lashes with length and volume.”
Finish off the look with http://www.covergirl.com/products/product.jsp?productId=shineblast_lipgloss " target="_blank"> CG ShineBlast Lip Gloss in Glimmer, and you’ll be ready to command a stage just like Queen!

Floyd claims she is owed more than $700,000 to helping gto develop, produce, and market the Queen Collection for Cover Girl. Moses claims Latifah owes her more than $300,000 for helping her in her role for Curvations, a lingerie line designed for fuller figured women. Sounds like these two ladies definitely pow-wowwed beforehand.
Amanda Silverman, a spokeswoman for Queen Latifah, says the lawsuits have no merit, but she can't comment more on pending litigation.
It just seems a little fishy when two people come out of the woodwork like Floyd and Moses and claim to be owed such huge amounts of money.
Everyone is struggling right now, and they are probably feeling the crunch of the economy like everyone else and trying to make a buck off someone who has more than enough in the bank. We smell some B.S. on these lawsuits. But stranger things have happened! Look how much undeserved money Heather Mills got!
