Brad Goreski, the former assistant to Rachel Zoe and now her worst enemy talked to Modamob at the Levi's Fall 2012 Global Collective show presentation about how his own styling career is taking off, his new show, “It’s a Brad Brad World,” trends for spring, and why designers want to personally style his clients.
“I have had really good relationships with them [designers] but being able to go into their studios and look at things for my clients and talk with them about making things for my clients – it is amazing,” says Brad, “Getting sketches by email by really great designers. It’s like, ‘What is happening. Oh my God.’”
Brad boasts celebrity clients like Demi Moore, Cameron Diaz, Kim Kardashian and Jessica Alba.
Not that he’s name dropping or anything, but Brad tells us, “I went with my client Jessica to Michael Kors this morning, I am blessed.”
We can safely assume that client “Jessica” is “Jessica Alba.”
We asked Brad what kind of trends we can expect for this spring, “There is a big military influence happening,” says Brad, “Very slim silhouettes but with masculine fabrics and masculine cuts. Lots of pencil skirts.”
Last night, Brad attended the Marchesa Fall 2012 runway show in New York and unfortunately for him, his old boss Rachel Zoe showed up to the show as well and completely gave him the cold shoulder.
Zoe thinks Brad stole her clients and while Brad has admitted that he did not, Rachel walked up to a woman sitting right next to Brad at the Marchesa show, finished her conversation and swiftly turned her back on Brad and walked away without even a nod.
“He kept staring at her thinking that she would say something to him but she turned her back on him as she was speaking to the woman and then walked off,” explains a witness.
While Rachel Zoe may have snubbed him, Brad hasn’t let it affect him as he tells us, “Everything is good. Business is great. I have a great team working with me. I can’t wait to go home and see my boyfriend tomorrow. I am ecstatic. Life is great.”
Seems like Brad wasn’t miffed in the slightest.
