Rafael Nadal Poses Shirtless (again) for Armani Underwear Ads
Omigod an Athlete posing shirtless! Hold the presses, I've never seen this happen before. In other Athletes-being-naked-and-hot news, Spanish Tennis Pro Rafael Nadal is posing shirtless for new Armani Jeans and underwear ads.

I always thought Tennis was the least "hot" sport. I just assumed that Tennis was something rich dads played. Had I known that the Association of Tennis Professionals was hiding this Spanish underwear god from the world, I would have been interested in tennis a long time ago.

Nadal is replacing soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo as the face of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans. Before Ronaldo, David Beckham was the face of Armani since 2008. This is the first time that the label has chosen a tennis player to front the brand, like I said, tennis isn't sexy. Soccer players are always sexy. Always. Hands down. Rafael Nadal is sexy, he just happens to be a tennis player.

Armani said he choose Nadal as the face of his shirtless ads because "he is ideal as he represents a healthy and positive model for youngsters." Is he aware that the only people peeping the ads are single women in their twenties who have zero interest in buying men's jeans? But positive model for youngsters? Sure. If you want your youngsters to dress like Chippendales dancers.

Last night, Rafael made an appearance at the Macy's Armani Jeans store and was greeted by about 400 screaming fans that all witnessed the unveiling of the hot advertisements for the first time. Although Justin Bieber could generate 400 screaming fans just by stepping outside his front door, these are impressive figures for the tennis star.

When asked if the swarming mass of girls is overwhelming he coolly responded, "It has happened a few times. It is nothing new for me." Hahah he sounds so cocky. I love it.

He also seems very confident about his turn from athlete to model, "I think it was good. It is the second time I have done the campaign." This is true. Back in January Nadal joined Megan Fox for a couple steamy ads for the brand. And then in March, Armani released a promo video featuring Nadal taking a shower in Armani jeans and making love with a wall. It was all very sexy, and to quote Nadal himself, I'd say, "I think it was good."

Though Nadal says that endorsing a fashion brand is a new world for him, "Now that I'm working with Armani [it] is a new experience. It's a different world that is very positive for me. I enjoy it a lot."
