Armani Releases Sexy New Rihanna Short Film
October 7, 2011 by: MADISON VANDERBERG

This is what goes down in this nearly two minute short film for Armani Jeans. A shady looking guy driving a car pulls up to another shady looking guy and the two of them make very severe eye contact with each other.
This last for approximately 8 seconds. Then shady guy #1 hands a suspicious looking bag to the other guy who then gives that bag to a woman sitting in a car, whose face who don't see, but obviously we know it's Rihanna, because, like duh, we aren't idiots.
Then Rihanna, who is wearing a very short blonde wig, starts undressing in the car and as a viewer you are like, oh this video took a turn in a different direction. But then she pulls a pair of Armani Jeans from out of the suspicious looking bag. Aha! This is the point of the commercial, to sell denim!
Rihanna pulls on the jeans while sitting in the back seat of the car, which is not an easy task to do, throws on an Armani leather jacket and emerges from the car in her skin tight jeans, still wearing that weird blonde wig and gets into an elevator with none other than shady-looking guy #1! Whoa, this video is blowing my mind.
The short film slash commercial features the Rihanna song "Skin" playing through the whole video. The spot was shot in a garage in NYC with music video director, Johan Renck.
Mr. Armani describes working with Rihanna on this campaign, "Rihanna is a great artist. Her personality, charisma and energy made it a pleasure to work with her. She perfectly embodies the contemporary and youthful spirit of Emporio Armani."
Rihanna last wore a blonde wig for her cover shoot for British Vogue's November 2011 issue. However, that wig was a cute blonde bob that looked like Marilyn Monroe, but the wig in this commercial is just a little too butch. However, it's not supposed to matter. This ad is really just about buying Armani jeans, Right? This is what dude who just just rewatched only the Rihanna-topless-in-car portion of the video say to themselves.
Rihanna is both the face of Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani underwear, a statement on their website says it's Rihanna's "innate sexiness, strong spirit and magnetic persona" that maker her the "natural spokesperson for the edgy and confident Armani Jeans."
Rihanna is the most recent celeb to helm the brand after stars like Victoria and David Beckham, Rafael Nadal, and Megan Fox.
So who's a better Armani model? Rihanna or the Beckhams?
