Russell has teamed up with retail giant Walmart this time around, in hopes of creating a budget fashion line.
The new line is called American Classic, with items all under $30. The line, made up of sweaters, vests, denim, and shoes, debuted at a Chicago Walmart over the weekend, and will now be stocked in over 350 stores across the country.
Russell is a pretty smart businessman! Because although retail is at an all-time low across the country right now, Walmart sales continue to boom! It’s one of the only stores people can actually afford to go to!
Hopefully this new venture for Russell will go well. He stepped down as CEO from Phat Farm in 2007 to focus on new projects, so hopefully this will go well for him.
