Salma Hayek Developing Affordable Beauty Line

It would probably take thousands of dollars to look as amazing as Salma Hayek. But ironically enough, she’s reportedly working on a cosmetics collection that won’t break the bank! With makeup costs through the roof these days, that’s music to our ears!

Salma recently dished about her new endeavor, saying she’ll be keeping the average woman’s budget in mind.

She tells People, “I’m trying to develop a line with a drugstore so that it is affordable for everyone. We’ve researched for two to three years. My grandmother was a cosmetologist and she used to make her own creams, but my whole approach is how can we get the essence of the really expensive ones, but for everyone to be able to afford.”

It’s like Salma stepped into our brains, because we ask ourselves that very question each time we glance at our receipt upon leaving Sephora! But Salma isn’t giving up anymore of her secrets just yet. She said, “I shouldn’t be talking about this!”

She caught our attention with the price point. Now let’s just hope she sticks to it! At least one celebrity is acknowledging the recession!
