Salma Hayek Reveals Her Beauty Secret

Salma Hayek says that she loves wearing dresses because they are so low-maintenance. You don't have to pick out a pair of pants AND a top. So basically, if you want to use even LESS brainpower, just wear a dress.

While doing promotions for her new film, "Puss In Boots" Salma Hayek name drops Demi Moore and talks about her own great fashion sense, "I was having dinner with my friend Demi - yes, that one - and she said, 'Oh, my God! Every time I see you, you are so put together! And I told her it's a lot easier to grab a fabulous little dress than to put together a whole casual outfit with jeans, a top, the right jacket, and great shoes. You slip on a dress and you can't go wrong."

I'll do you one better, Salma. You just throw on one of those adult onesies, strap on a belt and you don't even have to worry about shoes (assuming you wear the footed onesies, as I do).

Anyways, the mother of a four-year-old just wants to wear clothes that are no fuss. However, she does admit that when she's in a bad mood she goes shopping or heads to a beauty salon.

"Get a pedicure," she says, "and if that isn't working, go get a wax job!"

Wait wait wait, she says that if she's in a bad mood, the thing that makes her feel better is to have hair follicles ripped out of her skin from hot wax? Uhhhhhh....ok whatever works, I guess.

"Beauty products always cheer me up and give me hope. Sometimes a new lipstick just helps. If it makes you feel pretty, why not?"

Salma should know a thing or two about beauty products, she just launched a skincare and cosmetics line called "Nuance by Salma Hayek" for CVS. But don't be too quick to dismiss the drugstore brand, her product sold out at most stores it's first day on the shelves. So if Salma Hayek says that lipstick and a bikini wax will make you feel better, you better listen! Listen when a celebrity talks to you!

While some of you may be wondering why Salma Hayek is in a movie about a cat who wears boots, she says she's just doing these kids movies so that her daughter, Valentina, can watch her.

But she says she hasn't abandoned her Oscar-worthy roles, "I'm playing the queen of a drug cartel in an Oliver Stone film," she said, "He asked if I'd gone 'all soft' because I'm a mother. I said, 'Yes, but I can be the devil if I need to, because after all, I'm an actress."
