Sarah Jessica Parker graces the cover of the August Issue of Vogue, the annual Age Issue, and the photoshoot features the glamorous lady and her entire brood of kids. The entire spread is photographed by Mario Testino and is essentially a very high fashion version of the JC Penney family photoshoot.

In one shot, Parker standing amongst piles of her children’s toys in a pale yellow channel tweed jacket and skirt.

In one another beautiful aerial shot, Testino captures a moment between Parker and husband Mathew Broderick dressed for a night out on the town with Parker wearing a gold Bottega Veneta dress as their three children demand their parents attention. It looks like a scene from Peter Pan, you know the scene where the dad forgets his cufflinks, or something?

As the mother of one son and a pair of twin girls, Parker and Broderick are attempting to raise their kids commoner style, “We don’t have any live-in help. We’re pretty hand-on parents. That’s something that’s important to both of us, and we don’t shirk it, because what’s the point in having a family if you’re not going to really participate in it, you know?”

What she doesn’t mention is they have a nanny for their twins and an assistant for their 8 year-old’s “schedule,” whatever that means.

Her maternal instincts came in handy for her starring role in “I Don’t Know How She Does It,” where she plays an executive and mother pulled in too many directions.

Parker says this role is much more like herself than Carrie Bradshaw who she played for many years, “Bradshaw’s life is nothing-nothing-like mine. I love playing her…but I’m not a crazy shoe lady, I don’t think about fashion all day long, although I have a great respect for the industry.”
