Sarah Jessica Parker Honors Alexander McQueen at Premiere
Sarah Jessica Parker played it a little safe—albeit looking amazing—at the Sex and the City 2 premiere in NYC in her canary yellow Valentino gown.

But the Carrie we’ve all come to know and love was the one who showed at the London premiere! Parker donned an eye-catching black silk Alexander McQueen gown to the event to pay homage to the late designer.

She paired that with a sky-high Philip Treacy hairpiece made of black tulle that only SJP could pull off.

''There's only one person I could have worn tonight and that was Alexander McQueen. Lee, this is for you. I miss you very much,'' she told the UK Telegraph.

As you may recall back in 2008, Parker chose a McQueen gown and Treacy headpiece for the first movie’s premiere. The other ladies looked stunning for the premiere as well. Kim Cattrall chose a vintage black Thierry Mugler gown and Manolo Blahnik heels. Cynthia Nixon wore an asymmetrical Narciso Rodriguez blue gown and Christian Louboutin shoes. Kristin Davis glittered in a vintage Norman Norell halterneck gown paired with Jimmy Choo and a sparkling Judith Leiber clutch.

The ladies of Sex and the City 2 stepped out for the New York premiere last night and the question on everyone's mind was--who were they wearing??

Sarah Jessica Parker says she was so nervous about her neon colored Valentino gown, she hardly slept!

She said: "This movie took a long time to make. I cared about being presentable to that degree. I never want to embarrass my children or my family. It's always lovely to get to borrow a beautiful dress. I didn't sleep at all last night. I'm still so nervous. Look at my cuticles!"

Her co-star Cynthia Nixon confessed that she took the safe route with her black Carolina Herrera dress. "I think if fans expect me to be this dressed up in my everyday life, they're going to be very disappointed. I own a lot of flats," she joked.

Everyone's favorite cougar Kim Cattrall shined on the blue carpet in her gold Naeem Khan gown and jewels by Kimberly McDonald.

Kristin Davis dressed just like Charlotte would have on a red carpet with a vintage Jean Desses pink strapless gown. She certainly looked pretty in pink!

Did their fashion choices impress or disappoint you? Who gets your vote for the best dressed on the carpet?

Carrie Bradshaw is Shady in Jee Vice Sunglasses
Sarah Jessica Parker is back on set for the Sex and the City sequel! And she’s been sporting some fashionable shades to shield her eyes from the scorching NYC sun!

We did some scooping, and found out Carrie’s shades of choice are Jee Vice sunglasses, adding just that extra touch of glam to her already svelt outfits.

On her first day back in Carrie’s notoriously chic shoes, SJP was photographed sashaying around the set wearing the orange Heated shades. They looked so great with her deep purple dress and T-strap Louboutins.

Sarah Jessica isn’t the only celeb fan of Jee Vice’s Heated sunglasses either—Marcia Cross has been spotted around LA rocking the same shades. New Moon star Ashley Greene has been seen on the Vancouver set sporting the Red Hot shades. And Anne Hathaway, Salma Hayek, Katherine Heigl, Lindsay Lohan are all fans of the line as well.

Manolo Blahnik Slams Sex and the City

Most designers would kill for a chance to be features in Sex and the City series, but not Manolo Blahnik!

The Spanish shoe designer, made famous by Carrie Bradshaw and the SATC girls, says he's "sick" of hearing about Sex and the City and wishes he was never featured on the hit HBO show.

“If people talk to me about Sex And The City, I get sick,” he revealed in an interview with The Sunday Telegraph.

“The taxi drivers recognize me now. It becomes too much and I don’t feel comfortable. I have never wanted to be a celebrity designer.”

Considering the fact that Sex and the City put him on the map, you'd think he'd be a little more grateful! Guess the girls will just have to move on to Christian Louboutin!

Vivienne Westwood Not Impressed With SATC Fashion
Designer Vivienne Westwood played a huge role in the ‘Sex and the City’ movie but she was not the big of a fan of the fashion in the film.

If y’all remember, Vivienne Westwood was the designer that sent Carrie the wedding dress she wore on the Big day, but Vivienne explains that she was very displeased with the overall fashion of the movie.

She says, "I thought 'Sex and the City' was supposed to be about cutting-edge fashion and there was nothing remotely memorable or interesting about what I saw.

"I went to the premiere and left after 10 minutes."

Ouch! That’s a big blow for Patricia Field who does all the styling for the show and movie.

Sex And The City Fashion Recap
Last night was the much anticipated premiere of Sex and the City: The Movie, which was held in New York City, and let’s just say the girls brought sexyback to the city.

Kristin Davis, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon stepped out looking fierce, but would we expect anything less from these ladies? Sarah Jessica Parker mirrored Carrie’s fashion style on the carpet last night with her shiny Nina Ricci gown. The one thing the girls all had in common was that they were wearing Fred Leighton jewels.

Here’s the breakdown of what the ladies were wearing on the carpet in NYC last night:

SARAH JESSICA PARKER
...wore a shiny grey Nina Ricci gown matched with antique Fred Leighton jewels. The Queen of the night looked incredible, which was a big change from her outfit at the London premiere.

KRISTIN DAVIS
...wore a custom made gold Donna Karan gown matched with Fred Leighton diamonds. Kristin's outfit didn't impress us that much, but that's just Kristin Davis' style.

CYNTHIA NIXON
...wore a white Narciso Rodriguez gown matched with Fred Leighton jewels carrying a Bottega Veneta clutch. Cynthia Nixon has definitely impressed us with her red carpet style while doing the SATC media rounds. Her stylist needs a raise!

KIM CATTRALL
...wore a metallic strapless Vivienne Westwood knee length cocktail dress. Kim brought sexy back and gave all women in their 50's a good name out there!
