Shakira has always had long wavy hair, but chopped it off near her shoulders in a cute A-line bob. She posted a picture of her hair on twitter with the message, "4 hours ago I got my hair cut!" - she's a very to-the-point kind of twitter user.
After she left the salon she headed straight for her Spanish soccer player boyfriend Gerard Pique's apartment.

Shakira: While walking the carpet, Shakira wore a glittering strapless gown. The gold dress featured some over-the-top jewels all over the bodice with a poofy skirt and train. It walked a fine line between red-carpet glamour and pageant queen.
She later changed into another poofy pink gown for a performance and sparkling skinny jeans and lace top for her second song.

Both Shakira and Pink walked the red carpet at the 2009 MTV VMA's wearing the same Balmain dress.
How does that happen? Don't the designers know who they send the dresses to and who will be wearing it? Regardless, both ladies were good sports about it because they even took pictures together on the red carpet.
Thankfully it wasn't a diva star like Mariah Carey or Jennifer Lopez or else bad things would have happened.

Shakira is known to shake here hips but when she walked on the red carpet at the “Love In Time of Cholera” movie premiere, she shook some heads. The Latin sensation looked amazing sporting one of Fall’s hottest trends, animal print.
Shakira sported “Dolce and Gabanna”, but other designers such as Roberto Cavalli are using the same inspiration of brining the inner animal out. The key to animal print is to keep everything else simple.
