The Met Gala is celebrating the opening of the Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibition. Speaking of impossible - these outfits are a little out there.
Here is the worst dressed list from the 2012 Met Gala:
Mary Kate Olsen: I’m 50% sure that this is Mary Kate and not Ashley, regardless, ½ of the Olsen twins dressed as if she were stopping by the Met Gala on the way to a funeral. She wore a black tunic that did not accentuate any curves, and styled her hair by putting it in a messy bun.
Kirsten Dunst: Maybe she thought she won a walk on role on “Mad Men”? Dunst wore a burnt orange suit dress by Rodarte that might have been awesome for a red carpet if this was the maiden voyage of the Titanic and NOT the Met Gala! C’mon!

Sofia Vergara: Vergara ditched her usual mermaid silhouette dresses for a knee-length strapless cocktail dress by David Meister Signature. The black jacquard print dress featured a large jeweled waist and she paired it with towering peep toe black heels.

Charlize Theron: Charlize Theron looks flawless in couture Dior. With a giant bow on the waist, a high leg slit, and a beaded headband, this woman can do no wrong. Notify me when Theron makes it onto the worst dressed list, oh wait, that’s NEVER going to happen.
Angelina Jolie: Jolie could wear sweats and still be sexier than Mila Kunis, Charlize Theron and Beyonce combined, so she did not disappoint in a sultry cream satin Atelier Versace gown with red accents. This woman is so regal, she’s like a limited edition 1950’s Barbie doll.

Fergie: Fergie hosted the NYE fete at 1 OAK nightclub in Las Vegas and for the occasion she wore a metal tube dress and Gio Diev sandals. She looked great! Her dress was literally a work of art, and while it looked like the most uncomfortable creation she wore it with ease. Also, she can probably recycle the party dress as a table centerpiece or hook it up to make a water fountain!

Shakira: While walking the carpet, Shakira wore a glittering strapless gown. The gold dress featured some over-the-top jewels all over the bodice with a poofy skirt and train. It walked a fine line between red-carpet glamour and pageant queen.
She later changed into another poofy pink gown for a performance and sparkling skinny jeans and lace top for her second song.

Sofia Vergara is turning forty next year, yet she still looks like a twenty-year old. As long as that twenty-year old has a perfect body. And is also gorgeous.
While vacationing in Mexico, Vergara tweeted a picture of her curvaceous but slim physique, wearing a tiny, black two-piece. And there’s absolutely nothing else going on in the picture. So she’s not even trying to hide the fact that she’s just showing off.
Sofia took a quick vacation with boyfriend Nick Loeb. The two stayed at the Palmilla Resort in Los Cabos, Southern Mexico. Vergara tweeted photos of herself stuffing chicken tacos into her face and drinking cocktails during her vacation
