Sofia Vergara who plays the sexy, language challenged housewife on “Modern Family,” is completely okay with being a sex symbol.
While promoting her new film “The Smurfs” (ironically, the least sexually appealing film this year, unless your into androgynous blue things) opens up about people talking about her sex appeal. “I love it. Of course - it's great at my age. I think that everything that is positive and good helps out with your career. Why not embrace it and take advantage?”
Her beauty regimen is surprisingly simple. “Everything in moderation,” she advises, “Not too much food, not too much exercise, not too much anything.” Good, I hate it when skinny celebs are like “I eat whatever I want, why would you restrict yourself form eating,” as they order a side salad and only eat the dried cranberries from it.
Oh she also says “Of course, wearing sun block.” Good advice from one of Maxim's Hot 100 ladies.
Also, Vergara maintains her good looks by getting lots of beauty rest. She said she was asleep when it was announced she was nominated for an Emmy for her work on “Modern Family.” “I was sleeping…I was enjoying my sleep but this is better than coffee.”
