Yotam launched his first collection at the age of 20 in Spring 2008 at LA Fashion Week. He was noted as the youngest designer to ever show in LA Fashion Week. The designer combines his European and Middle Eastern roots with a Southern California upbringing to create Avant-Garde pieces that are sophisticated and chic with interesting color palates. Solomon's trademark designs include geometric patterns, architectural shapes, and cutouts which combine to create futuristic statement pieces. Solomon's brand is geared toward Eco-friendly living, created using sustainable materials; with a portion of all profits donated to environmental charity organizations. Hollyscoop hit the launch party of the Kritik in collaboration with Lisa Kline for some fun new colors that define what L.A. and travel chic is all about.
The event took place at the Lisa Kline boutique in Beverly Hills. Designer Jonathan Cheban came all the way from NYC to give the scoop on why the stars can't get enough of Kritik.
We also caught up with Kritik fans such as Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Aubrey O’Day, Haylie Duff, Russian heiress Anna Anismova, Paula Abdul, Casey Johnson, Alli Sims and the list goes on. Other stars that made it out included Devon Aoki, Vanessa Minnillo,”Pussycat Doll” Jessica Sutta, Stacey Keibler, Karina Smirnoff among others.
