Inspired by \"Love,\" Target Partners with Prabal Gurung
You know it’s going to be a good week when Target announces another designer collaboration, but it’s a GREAT one when that designer is Prabal Gurung.

The Nepalese-American designer brings his explosive eye for graphic, graphic, and MORE graphic prints and fabrics to the mass retailer in a limited-edition collection of women’s RTW and accessories, Target announces today.

Prabal will put forth 80+ pieces of clothing, handbags, shoes, and jewelry at price points ranging from $19.99 (t-shirts) through $199.99 (leather jacket). Target even released a first look image of his designs and it’s coming up flowers—the sleekest bouquet of roses you can receive this Valentine’s Day.

We can’t wait to see it in full bloom when the collection sells in-store and online from February 10 through March 23, 2013 (but really it’s only when supplies last, which in true Target fashion won’t be long). This is perfect for the lovey-dovey holiday since Target x Prabal is a love match made in fashion heaven.

And that feeling of L-O-V-E has made its way into the line itself! “The collection is inspired by a girl’s journey through the different stages of love and the clothes she wears during each milestone—from the first date to meeting the parents to the engagement,” Prabal said to Target’s blog A Bullseye View.

“This collection was inspired by love,” Prabal added in a designer’s statement. “if Target’s guests can feel even a little bit of the love that I felt while I was designing this collection, then I will consider it a job well done.”
