Here are the best-dressed music stars from the 54th annual Grammy awards.
Katy Perry: Katy Perry still has blue hair, and while it’s starting to look like bottom-of-the-fishtank blue, she paired her aqua hair with a soft pale blue Elie Saab gown covered in blue rhinestones. This is honestly her most grown-up red carpet look ever. She’s usually dressed like a smurf, or a 1950’s waitress, or an anime cartoon, so it was nice to see Katy looking so elegant.

The National Advertising Division has banned the ad for a NatureLuxe Mousse Mascara because Swift's "lashes were enhanced in post production" according to the fine print at the bottom of the ad.

Taylor Swift was honored with the Ultimate Choice award for her "extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry," although she's only 21 years old, she was basically taking home the "lifetime achievement" award. Donning an all-white Raphael Cennamo halter dress, she was just one gust of wind from stealing Marilyn Monroe's iconic look.
Ashton Kutcher had a very laid back look for the awards show. In a floppy fedora, sunglasses he never removed (who does he think he is? A rapper?), jeans and some flip flops, Kutcher looked ready to ride away on the surfboard he just won.

"I like wearing pretty dresses and I like trying out new styles, but I don't feel comfortable taking my clothes off," she tells London's The Telegraph.
"I wouldn't wear tiny amounts of clothing in my real life, so I don't think it's necessary to wear that stuff in photo shoots," she adds.
Taylor is obviously much more mature than the rest of Young Hollywood who strips down the minute they are told they will sell more albums. Let’s just call her an old soul.

Here’s a rundown of my top 4 favorite looks from the carpet.
Most Playful: It took a few moments to focus after seeing photos of Julianne Hough from the red carpet. She looked so radiant wearing Randi Rahm’s Melissa evening gown. What I loved the most about the dress was that it was backless. Guess all that training has been paying off because her back looked great!
Most Daring: Nicole Kidman looked like she was whipping Keith Urban right before they arrived to the red carpet. Maybe Keith and Nicole are into to S&M thing and all power to them. I loved Nicole’s dominatrix inspired L’Wren Scott Fall 2011 dress. It was quite different from the conservative dresses we usually see Nicole wearing.
Most Elegant: Taylor Swift's dress was my favorite of the night. She was wearing a nude Elie Saab Couture Spring 2010 gown. What I loved about the dress was all the detail with the beading and feathers. She was definitely dressed like a winner!
Favorite Color: Carrie Underwood never disappoints on the red carpet and last night was no exception. Carrie Underwood looked stunning wearing a one-of-a-kind Jean Fares Couture gown. What I loved most about Carrie’s gown was the color. The deep purple full-length gown was embellished with jeweled pockets and featuring a very low cut back.

Taylor Swift is known to be a sweet and innocent girl-next-door type, but she's showing off a more edgy look in her new commercial for CoverGirl NatureLuxe.
Unfortunately, I don't think it really works for her. It reminds me of this scene of Selma Blair in Cruel Intentions trying to seduce Ryan Phillippe by saying, "I could be sexy too!"
She gets brownie points for trying, but she should stick to looking "cute" rather than sexy.
