Taylor Swift Tries to Be Sexy in CoverGirl Commercial

Now that was awkward!

Taylor Swift is known to be a sweet and innocent girl-next-door type, but she's showing off a more edgy look in her new commercial for CoverGirl NatureLuxe.

Unfortunately, I don't think it really works for her. It reminds me of this scene of Selma Blair in Cruel Intentions trying to seduce Ryan Phillippe by saying, "I could be sexy too!"

She gets brownie points for trying, but she should stick to looking "cute" rather than sexy.
