Not to be outdone by Gaga or Britney, Taylor Swift is adding another fragrance to her collection: Wonderstruck Enchanted will hit perfume counters this September.
In a nod to her new favorite angry color, and new album title, Red, Tayor wears a red Monique Lhullier gown and sits in a red velvet chair for her new print ad for the fragrance, the bottle of which is also red.
“I love the look of my ad,” Swift told People. “I’m wearing this amazing gown that I loved as soon as I put it on. It’s a classic look, and that’s been my recent style obsession. Anything classic and timeless.”
The ad was shot at the Magnolia Plantation in New Orleans, which is also where she shot her ads for her Wonderstruck scent, during her blue period.
“Wonderstruck Enchanted is the next chapter in the story of my Wonderstruck fragrance,” said Swift of the perfumes “Wonderstruck is about that moment when you instantly feel a connection to someone, but then there’s that feeling of being completely enamored — enchanted — when you know a little more about that someone and still feel that strong connection.”
Strange how that the girl can cordon off her emotions for projects so well: breakups for the songs; enchanted googly eyes for the fragrance; gentle confusion for the Grammys.
You can pick up Wonderstruck Enchanted, which will smell like berries and flowers and fruit and musk and vanilla (just like Taylor does after a run, probably) and retail for $49.50-$59.50, in September.
