H&M Wants Tom Ford Collaboration
After the mega successful launch of Versace for H&M, the giant retailer has been eyeing a collaboration with Tom Ford.

Tom Ford was once the creative director of Gucci in the 1990’s and really reinvigorated the brand. He left in 2004 to form his own line, Tom Ford International and he also directed the Colin Firth film, “A Single Man.” But really, all you need to know is that Tom Ford has the most perfect 5 o’clock shadow and looks amazing in a suit.

This is not the first time Ford has been rumored to join the brand. Last year a French Tribune article started rumors about a collab, but now it might actually be happening.

When asked if H&M could see a collaboration with Tom Ford, H&M’s creative adviser Margareta Van den Bosch says “Tom Ford is a very interesting name. I can say, I wouldn’t mind.”
Q & A with Tom Ford: Tom on the Royal Wedding, Growing Up Gay and Facelifts
Tom Ford is a genius. There’s no other way to put it. He single handedly saved Gucci from the brink of extinction and transformed the company into a style giant. He left Gucci to start his own collection and hasn’t looked back since. And with the success of Tom Ford, who would blame him?

He’s one of the most important men in fashion and he sat down with Bergdorf Goodman for a fun Q&A about the royal wedding, growing up gay in Texas, why he takes five baths a day and much more. Here are some highlights from the interview:

On Princess Beatrice’s horrible fascinator during the royal wedding:
“I’ll probably get in trouble for saying this, but at the royal wedding, one of the princesses wore a now-very-famous (or infamous) Philip Treacy hat—that hat wore her. Now, Isabella Blow, a woman those of us in fashion knew well . . . had she worn the same hat, it would have looked great. She would have worn the hat. She knew what she was about, what she wanted to express in fashion.”

Candice Swanepoel Moves to High Fashion WIth Versace and Tom Ford Campaign
Candice Swanepoel is not limiting herself to just Victoria's Secret. She's on her way of becoming the next Gisele, Heidi, Alessandra.

The South African hottie has gotten herself two HUGE modeling gigs. She's signed on to be the face of not only Tom Ford, but Versace Eyewear as well.

In the Versace ad, Candice is sporting nude lips and in true Tom Ford fashion she's sporting big bold red lips for his ad campaign.
Tom Ford: I Do Everything Completely Naked
Forget Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp and George Clooney--Tom Ford is easily one of the sexiest men alive!

The fashion mogul sat down for an interview with Interview Magazine for its February 2011 issue to talk about being naked, being naked, being naked--and his first muse. But most importantly, he talks about being naked.

Here are some highlights from the interview:

On his interest in the human body:
“My expression of beauty is something I do naturally. I love the human body - the female body, the male body…I’m very comfortable with naked bodies.”

On being comfortable in his own skin:
“When I come home…I wear no clothes until I leave. I eat naked. I do everything completely naked.”

On his big return:
"I decided I would never go back to fashion until I had something new to say, until I could have fun creating fashion again. It had become really formulaic."

On working with models:
“They’re something that I’m modeling or shaping or sculpting, but I’m very aware that even though I make them physically beautiful, their soul and personality and character is somewhat detached from that.”

On his first memory of beauty:
"That would have been as a little kid living in Texas. My grandmother was probably the first person who I thought was beautiful. She was incredibly stylish, she had big hair, big cars. I was probably 3 years old, but she was like a cartoon character. She’d swoop into our lives with presents and boxes, and she always smelled great and looked great. She always had the latest things. She was larger than life to me, even as an adult, but when I was a child it was really like she was from another planet. It seemed like she lived in a different world, and wherever that was, I wanted to go."
Video: Tom Ford's Fashion Show One Big A List Party
Tom Ford has been teasing us with his much-anticipated women’s collection, but we finally get to see the full show.

During NY fashion week Tom held a super secret fashion show and made sure there were no cameras, no live streaming, and all the attendees were urged to remain tight lipped. The reason behind all the secrecy was to stop high street brands from copying his styles.

The models, all women who are inspirational to Ford, included such fashion-world lurkers as Daphne Guinness, Lisa Eisner, Julianne Moore, Rita Wilson, Beyonce along with über-models Amber Valletta, Liya Kebede, Stella Tennant and Natalia Vodianova.

Tom’s show seemed more like a posh party with fabulous people than an actual fashion show.

Ever since Tom retired from designing women's wear, fashion has not been the same. What do you guys think of the actual clothes?
Beyonce Channels Sasha Fierce for Tom Ford Runway
Earlier this month, I reported that Tom Ford was making a comeback to women's clothes.

He showed off his new spring/summer 2011 collection during NY Fashion week back in September and Beyonce brought all her fierceness to the runway. B strutted her stuff on the runway sporting a big afro and a sequined dress.

Tom Ford Goes to H&M and Karl Lagerfeld Goes to Macy*s

Tom returning to women's clothes is a huge deal since he has not designed for women since he left Gucci and YSL.

Photos from the show will be featured in the January issue of Harper's Bazaar UK.
Tom Ford Goes to H&M and Karl Lagerfeld Goes to Macy's
Start setting up the tents ladies because Tom Ford is rumored to be the next designer to collaborate with H&M. The good news doesn’t end there! Fashion King Karl Lagerfeld has also announced plans to launch a collection at Macy*s.

Now that I’m done jumping around the office and I’ve caught my breath I can tell you about the limited edition collection from Tom Ford.

According to reports, it will be the same edition that appeared in the December-January issue of French Vogue, which was guest edited by Ford.

The date of release is yet to be announced but do not worry because I am on it! You will find out when I find out! And now on to Karl! He will design a capsule collection for Macy*s to be sold in 250 stores. Macy*s has a new designer series where lines will rotate in the Impulse section every two months. The designer series will launch with John Galliano in February 2012 and will be followed by Vivienne Westwood, Paul Smith, Calvin Klein, Costume National, and Versace.

Ok, everyone start jumping up and down again! On a side note, the economy must have hit these big labels really hard. Why else would they design for stores like Macy*s?

Macy*s is like probably like Wal-Mart for someone like Karl Lagerfeld.
Tom Ford Goes Back to Women!
Our dreams have finally come true! Tom Ford is designing women's clothes again. Why am I so excited, I don't know! It's not like I can afford anything Tom Ford designs. I'm just hoping Forever 21 starts with the knock offs.

Ford gave Vogue a first glimpse of his new spring 2011 women's collection. Tom has not designed for women since he left Gucci and YSL so this is really exciting news to many.

“It’s about individuality. Real clothes, real women. For a fashionable woman aged 25 to 75,” Ford tells Vogue. “I don’t think fashion has to change every five minutes. I’d like these to be clothes you can wear for a long time—ten, 20 years; pass on to your daughter. Why buy vintage when you can open your own closet!”

We're gonna see a lot of 70's inspired designs, some hot suits and fringed clothes from the new Tom Ford women's collection. You get that knock off queens!

Last night designer Valentino Garavani came out of hiding ever since his final fashion show in Milan. Valentino and his good pal model Liz Hurley attended the "MANGO International Fashion Awards" in Barcelona, Spain. Liz looked stunning in a short Valentino scarlet number.
