Tom Ford Gives Sneak Peek of Spring/Summer 2013 Catwalk
Tom Ford has released images from his spring/summer 2013 collection today—five looks from his always secretive catwalk previews—and the designs are a crème de la crème dream.

''They decided that we would release a few images to illustrate the collection and accompany reviews, largely because of the way it was presented, which was more like a show,” a source told Vouge.co.uk.

Tom is known in the industry for never showing his collections until they hit the retail store. This online sneak peek breaks that tradition for the very first time allowing everyone to have an insider’s look and view the clothes ahead of schedule, so another dream come true for you this morning.

The collection is inspired by the often dueling yin-yang themes of perversity and chastity. Here Tom shows with effortless glamorama class that there’s room for both in clothing, having a little naughty-nice fun with designs that truly swoon and shine with serious allure—a golden fish net pencil skirt underneath a sporty camel colored pullover, a romantic and nude leather jacket with an oversized buckle collar, dark bicycle knee-length shorts, a long slinky chain skirt, that magnetic two-toned metallic net dress (favorite!), and razzle dazzle Gladiator spat sandals of knee-length height.

“If you look too chaste, too buttoned up, you will always look a little dull, but if you go all-out sexy it can look perverse,” the designer told Graziadaily.co.uk of the design aesthetics in play. “This collection is about finding the balance.”
