The London Olympics are set to start on July 27th, and if you're going to be in town, Modamob has your shopping guide.
Topshop is one of the most popular stores in the UK. There are only a few locations in the US so far, and it’s way cooler to buy Topshop in its home turf of London. The high street fashion store is a favorite among Kate Moss and fashionista Olivia Palermo.
Next stop is River Island. This trendy store is so popular, Rihanna is in talks to design for the line. Her collection wont hit stores until 2013, but you can at least peep the in-house designs of this European favorite.
Selfridges department store is a must see. Celebs love this store. They have a Karl Lagerfeld in-store boutique and Beyonce has even collaborated on a collection within the store. But best yet, Selfridges has an entire floor just for woman's shoes, enough said, right?
And last but not least, make sure to stop by Primark for some inexpensive trendy looks. Primark is kind of like the H&M of London, but I suppose London already has it’s own H&M’s, well you know what I mean.
For vintage duds, try East London's Brick Lane and Commercial Street, Beyond Retro, Blitz, Rokit, and Absolute Vintage, plus the stalls at Spitalfields Market.
For luxury brands like Comme des Garcons, Alexander McQueen and Giambattista Valli (to name a few) check out Dover Street Market, the home of the original market store for Comme des Garcons.
