Vanessa Hudgens Got Some Hair Extensions

Vanessa Hudgens got tired of looking like Pete Wentz's twin, so she decided to go to the salon for some hair extensions.

Hudgens cut her hair ultra short for her new movie, Gimme Shelter. She plays a pregnant teenager who is forced to go homeless. Brendan Fraser and Rosario Dawson also star in the flick.

“I grabbed the scissors and started cutting my actual hair,” Vanessa says of her transformation. “Then my director decided that he was going to grab the scissors, and he grabs a chunk of my hair and just chops it.” She rocked the look in public a few times, but Saturday, Vanessa was spotted out in Los Angeles, wearing a long, flowing skirt and crocheted bikini top-her standard hippie attire. Hudgens' signature bohemian outfit was paired with the long, black locks we're used to seeing on her. So she's either wearing a wig, or she's finished her shots and decided to get some extensions until her 'do grows out.

Hudgens didn't seems to care for her new short look, saying it made her feel like “a soccer mom.”

“Oh man, it's really intense-I'm still getting used to it. I miss [my hair,] believe me, I do, but there's nothing I can do about it.”

Well, apparently, there was, and Vanessa figured it out.
