Victoria Beckham Fires Back at PETA

PETA was pissed off at VB for featuring handbags made from crocodile and lizard skin, as well as calf leather.
Victoria Risks Being Covered In Animal Blood
But a spokeswoman for Victoria has brushed off the criticism, insisting the accessories adhere to strict guidelines in the production process.
The rep says, "Everyone is entitled to personal opinion and choice, but as with all Victoria Beckham products, the handbags are made to the highest quality and design. These skins sit strictly within the CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) regulations, and are monitored at every step of production. The skins are farmed in America under very tight guidelines."
While we agree no animal should die for a handbag, it's not like Victoria is the first person to do it. PETA just loves to target celebrities because it's instant press for them.
