Victoria Beckham's Video for Her New Lower Priced Collection, 'Victoria'
February 2, 2012 by: MADISON VANDERBERG

This new video is so damn quirky, it’s like a campaign video for hipster president of NYU or something.
The video follows a pale skinny blonde model as she wears no make-up and zero hair product and quick changes out of various Victoria dresses with silly transitions and funky music.
The video was directed by 27-year-old Quentin Jones but looks like something that could have been directed by the combined efforts of Sofia Coppola, Spike Jonze and maybe a kitten.
Speaking of kittens, the muse for this new collection are cats. Several of the dresses are cute little frocks with a print of a cat face, it’s weird and wacky and I’m sure Zooey Deschanel cannot wait to get her hands on one of these dresses.
This collection is so different from Victoria Beckham's signature line, which features chic and demure dresses at very high price points, but this new line is young and fun and flirty!
“This collaboration is really exciting for me, “Beckham said on creating the commercial with director Quentin, “For the Victoria line I wanted to appeal to a slightly younger audience- super chic but with a sense of humor and an edge and that’s exactly what Quentin brought to the creative process.”
The brand goes on sale in the US on February 4 and if you’ve got a thing for cats, cuteness, or trying to dress like the chicks in indie flicks, then this is the collection for you.
