Proving that these women are truly better than us mere mortals, Hosk just gave an interview with Fashionista.com and told them how she was forced to decide between an amazing future as a basketball player and an even better future as a lingerie model. This is what I describe as a "good problem."
She revealed in the interview how she was given the opportunity to model as a teenager, but chose to finish high school first and then after graduation she again put modeling on hold to focus on a career as a basketball player in Sweden, which gave her no free time to pursue any other hobby.

Proving that the VS models are nearly beyond human, they strutted down the runway in the lingerie company's annual televised fashion show on CBS on Tuesday reminding us that no amount of cocoa butter or Pilates will get us looking like that after a pregnancy.
This years models with kids at home include Miranda Kerr, Doutzen Kroes, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Adriana Lima.
Adriana Lima’s daughter Valentina was born on November 15, 2009. Miranda Kerr gave birth to her son Flynn in January 2011.

The show taped last night and featured VS angels like Miranda Kerr, Chanel Iman, Alessandra Amborsio, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, and Erin Heatherston to name a few.
Clad in VS lingerie and giant appendages like wings and tails, the models walked the runway at the 2011 show in NYC last night. The show itself will air on CBS on November 29, 2011, but here’s all the details and spoiler alerts:
Adam Levine serenades his model girlfriend: Maroon 5 was on hand to perform their hit song “Moves Like Jagger” during the runway show. While the band performed, models made passes down the runway but Adam stayed focused on the music.

Miranda will walk in the upcoming Victoria's Secret Fashion show after taking a year hiatus to give birth to her son Flynn. The new-mom slash model says she's working overtime to get her post-baby body back in shape before the November 29 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
"This is something I've always wanted to do. I do yoga. That's something I consistently do as well as Pilates. So I've been doing that for the past six months. But I've been doing more squats because you gotta get that booty up - you really can't hide anything when you're up there on that runway - you've got cameras coming at you from every angle," says Kerr.
She's got even more reason to look perfect on the runway. Kerr has been honored with wearing the $2.5 million "Fantasy Treasure Bra" at the runway show.

The bra itself, is worth $2.5 million dollars. How does a bra get that expensive, you ask? The aquamarine colored push-up bra was created by VS and Long Island's London Jewelers and is inlaid with 3,400 precious gems, including 142 carats of white and yellow diamonds, pearls, faceted citrines and aquamarines, all set in 18 karat white and yellow gold.
I have no idea what half those things are. What's a citrine? I wish there was an english translation for those of us who think that a hair-tie around the wrist counts as a bracelet.

The issue, which hits newsstands on September 20, was inspired by the 1980’s and creative director Joe Zee’s goal was to bring out the sexiness of the ladies. Like that’s hard to do right?
“Any woman who has a positive attitude about herself and carries herself with class but doesn’t try too hard and say, ya know, ‘Hey, look at me, I’m a bombshell,’ is basically a bombshell,” Iman explains. “It’s just a woman with a positive, strong attitude who knows she has it going on.”

The lingerie juggernaut plans to open two or three new stores in London in 2012 and considers expanding to "mall stores."
Victoria's Secret executive Martyn R. Redgrave tells Women's Wear Daily, "The mall-based stores will be large box units with full assortments, but they're in the UK, not the US, and we have to learn. That's what we're looking to do as we expand, in the UK in particular, and those will be company-owned and operated.”

VS’s new scent is Sheer Love and Swanepoel goes nuts when she wears the fragrance, “This fragrance is really light, it’s really girly, it has a hint of cotton and flowers and lily.”

Weighing Yourself: According to Dr. Oz, the average American wakes up at 6:00 a.m., and the best time to step on the scale is 6:30, after your morning bathroom break. Yep, he said it. In a demonstration on The Dr. Oz Show, he revealed that the extra weight you lose in the morning from sweating and using the bathroom is the equivalent of a bottle of wine. And I can never drink Pinot Grigio the same again.
Exercise: It sounds miserable, but the best time to exercise is in the morning, right after you weight yourself. Dr. Oz says in the morning, your body burns fat in a different way. If waking up and hitting the gym sounds bad...

The former Victoria’s Secret supermodel stands naked, wearing only a severed pink tie and covering herself with her arm that reads “Make It Work.”
“This is definitely sexier than past campaigns we’ve done,” Klum tells People Magazine, “I guess you could say ‘Hans and Franz’ are celebrating season 9.”
