23-year-old new Victoria's Secret Model Elsa Hosk revealed that before she began modeling she was a pro basketball player in Sweden. What's next? We find out that Miranda Kerr used to be a neuro surgeon before she started modeling for Victoria's Secret?

Proving that these women are truly better than us mere mortals, Hosk just gave an interview with Fashionista.com and told them how she was forced to decide between an amazing future as a basketball player and an even better future as a lingerie model. This is what I describe as a "good problem."

She revealed in the interview how she was given the opportunity to model as a teenager, but chose to finish high school first and then after graduation she again put modeling on hold to focus on a career as a basketball player in Sweden, which gave her no free time to pursue any other hobby.

"It's not anything like the WNBA, I mean basketball is not that big in Sweden, but it was still very tough," she tells Fashionista.

"It took up a lot of time, it got really serious and I wanted to explore the world and meet people and not be tied down," admits the ball player turned model.

She finally ditched the ball playing and finally began pursing a career as a model where she was snatched up by Victoria's Secret to model in the annual fashion show last month. Though she says she was used to staying in shape because of her experience training for basketball.

"I think for us, we have to be in shape pretty much all the time since we're working with lingerie," says Hosk. Yeah, I'm sure the casting call for the Victoria's Secret Angel audition just said "No fatties." Hey, I'm just calling it like I see it.

"[When the show comes around] it's not like, 'Oh you need to lose a million pounds,' you just need to tighten up. We're pretty much ready year round," admits the model.

Translation: "we're pretty much ready year round" means, we look good all-the-time always.

However, Hosk does have one insecurity.

"I think my biggest thing is my butt. I have to constantly train my ass, that's the main thing I work on," says Hosk, who says her pre-show rituals is comprised of "butt lifts and butt lifts and millions of butt lifts."

Of her first VS show she says, "It was awesome. You get so high from the energy...Chanel [Iman] told me to just have fun out there. It was amazing. Like, a really mind blowing experience."
