Vivienne Tam Unveils Spring 09 Collection

Vivienne Tam unveiled her 2009 Spring/Summer collection this past week during New York Fashion week to a jam packed house including stars like Serena Williams, Ana Ortiz, and Stevie Perry.

Her collection, which consisted mostly of reds, pastels and florals gave the audience quite a show. The majority of the collection included satins, ruffles, chiffon, tulle, cotton, and wools.

Tam's collection appeared to pay homage to the late Yves Saint Laurent with tailored suiting and peonies. "Every woman loves peonies," Tam declared before her show. Peonies aside, judging from the reaction of the crowd, it was clear everyone was impressed by her collection.
