Adele's Vogue Cover Is Worst Seller Of All Time
Adele’s recent UK Vogue cover was one of the worst selling Vogue covers of all time!

But I thought we all collectively loved her?! I thought “21” was the best selling album of 2011!?

Fashionistas, why don’t you like Adele?
Tyra Banks Backs Vogue's Health Initiative, Thinks You're "Flawsome"
Vogue recently announced a plan to encourage healthy body image by pressuring designers to quit using stick thin size zero models.

Tyra Banks is 100% behind this initiative as someone who turned her “curves into a curveball.”

Tyra posted an open letter to models on the Daily Beast where she recalls her own experiences loosing out on jobs for being a size four!

New Vogue Health Initiative: No More Skinny Models
The 19 International editors of Vogue have banded together to hopefully end the epidemic of anorexic and underage models.

Vogue Italia posted a new manifesto that claims that Vogue editors will not “knowingly” use models under the age of 16, nor will they use models who “appear” to have eating disorders.

This is all in a new attempt to hopefully create a healthier body image for the girls in the pages of Vogue and it’s readers.
Kate Upton Buys Her Own Met Ball Ticket – And Will Appear in Vogue?
Kate Upton, the Sports Illustrated model turned Cheeseburger enthusiast turned 'Cat Daddy' bikini expert is getting even more famous.

Page Six is reporting that Kate visited the Vogue offices to have a sit down with Anna Wintour.
Victoria Beckham Talks Fashion, David Beckham and More in Vogue
If you can believe it, the fashionable Victoria Beckham has never appeared on the cover of American Vogue. While Jennifer Lopez gets the cover girl duties for the April issue, Victoria opens up in the inside pages.

Mother of four, the creator of the very successful Victoria Beckham line, and the wife of international footballer David Beckham - Vogue has all the details.

On her design philosophy:
Vogue Italia Pulls Karlie Kloss Photo for Being Too Thin
There's skinny. There's model skinny. And then there's Karlie Kloss. 19-year-old supermodel Karlie Kloss is runways newest IT-girl and a recent Victoria's Secret angel, but now she's come into controversy for her nude photoshoot with Vogue Italia.

The spread features some clothed shots and other nude shots, but the image that's come under serious pressure is one of her wearing unbuttoned hot pants and a cropped leather jacket that features the model contorting her body in such a way that shows off her protruding hip bone and nearly emaciated frame. The picture has popped up on pro-anorexia sites that use the photo as "thinspiration."
Vogue Names the Olsen Twins the Best Dressed Sisters of 2011
Apparently Vogue thinks that twin banshees in baggy clothing deserve to cover the magazine. And Anna Wintour approved it? Kidding, I actually love Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, from their dark eyeliner and straw colored hair, to their sartorial sense, these twin sisters were named the best dressed family duo by Vogue magazine for it’s Best Dressed Special Edition magazine available on newsstands November 15th.

The girls appear on the cover of the mag, in a photoshoot snapped by Craig McDean.

Coming in second place are the young Fanning sisters, Elle and Dakota. While neither of them are even 18 years old yet, they both exude a sort of runway model confidence in everything they wear. Even though Elle is only 13, she’s always dressed in Valentino, Chanel, or Marc Jacobs.
Glee: From Target to Vogue- A Style Evolution
Although they play a motley crew of highschool geeks, the cast of Glee are the news spokespeople for Fashion’s Night Out.

Fashion’s Night Out is this event on September 8, 2011 where your favorite stores will stay open later and serve “refreshments” aka tiny cupcakes and cucumber water while you just go shopping at 9pm instead of during normal store hours. Basically, just be prepared for lots of tweeting from your most fashionable friends on this day.

So anyways, the entire Glee cast has been pegged as the FNO spokespeople and talked to Vogue about this honor.

The cast confesses that the only character with any sartorial sense was Chris Colfer’s character.
Vogue Australia Features First Plus Sized Model
The August issue of Vogue Australia features a, wait for it, PLUS SIZED MODEL.

I might as well have said that the cover features a cat playing a piano because that’s as out of character for the fashion mag as placing a plus sized model on it’s cover.

The model, Robyn Lawley, is the first plus-sized girl ever to be featured on Vogue Australia. (She once covered Vogue Italia).
Vogue on Precious Star: She's Too Fat
The gossip world was abuzz a few weeks ago when Precious star Gabourey Sidibe was left off the cover of Vanity Fair’s annual “Young Hollywood” issue. Young women like Kristen Stewart, Amanda Seyfried and Carey Mulligan were all a part of the shoot, but Sidibe was snubbed.

The heavier set actress has brushed off the snub from the magazine, but now she’s been hit again with criticism! According to PopEater, Anna Wintour isn’t interested in having Gabourey pose for her mag either. Vogue editors are used to having rail thin models on their pages, and won’t make an exception for an Oscar nominee.

"She's a joke in the fashion community. What she wore on the red carpet at the Academy Awards wasn't a dress, it was a tent," one editor said.

"Vogue is venue where designers debut their best new pieces. All are of which are one of a kind and sample size. It would be impossible to get a regular-sized girl in those clothes, let alone Gabby," another source explained.

That’s the fashion industry for you! Wintour herself has spoken out about young people’s weight issues, saying to Us Weekly, “There’s such an epidemic of obesity in the United States, and for some reason, everybody focuses on Anorexia. We need to spend money, time and education on teaching people to eat, exercise and take care of themselves in a healthier way. It [has gotten people] provoked, which is really the point.”

Do you think it’s fair that Gabourey isn’t getting the same treatment as other female stars her age? Or should she try and lose the weight?
