The spread features some clothed shots and other nude shots, but the image that's come under serious pressure is one of her wearing unbuttoned hot pants and a cropped leather jacket that features the model contorting her body in such a way that shows off her protruding hip bone and nearly emaciated frame. The picture has popped up on pro-anorexia sites that use the photo as "thinspiration."

The girls appear on the cover of the mag, in a photoshoot snapped by Craig McDean.
Coming in second place are the young Fanning sisters, Elle and Dakota. While neither of them are even 18 years old yet, they both exude a sort of runway model confidence in everything they wear. Even though Elle is only 13, she’s always dressed in Valentino, Chanel, or Marc Jacobs.

Fashion’s Night Out is this event on September 8, 2011 where your favorite stores will stay open later and serve “refreshments” aka tiny cupcakes and cucumber water while you just go shopping at 9pm instead of during normal store hours. Basically, just be prepared for lots of tweeting from your most fashionable friends on this day.
So anyways, the entire Glee cast has been pegged as the FNO spokespeople and talked to Vogue about this honor.
The cast confesses that the only character with any sartorial sense was Chris Colfer’s character.

I might as well have said that the cover features a cat playing a piano because that’s as out of character for the fashion mag as placing a plus sized model on it’s cover.
The model, Robyn Lawley, is the first plus-sized girl ever to be featured on Vogue Australia. (She once covered Vogue Italia).

The heavier set actress has brushed off the snub from the magazine, but now she’s been hit again with criticism! According to PopEater, Anna Wintour isn’t interested in having Gabourey pose for her mag either. Vogue editors are used to having rail thin models on their pages, and won’t make an exception for an Oscar nominee.
"She's a joke in the fashion community. What she wore on the red carpet at the Academy Awards wasn't a dress, it was a tent," one editor said.
"Vogue is venue where designers debut their best new pieces. All are of which are one of a kind and sample size. It would be impossible to get a regular-sized girl in those clothes, let alone Gabby," another source explained.
That’s the fashion industry for you! Wintour herself has spoken out about young people’s weight issues, saying to Us Weekly, “There’s such an epidemic of obesity in the United States, and for some reason, everybody focuses on Anorexia. We need to spend money, time and education on teaching people to eat, exercise and take care of themselves in a healthier way. It [has gotten people] provoked, which is really the point.”
Do you think it’s fair that Gabourey isn’t getting the same treatment as other female stars her age? Or should she try and lose the weight?

Many of the women were expected to make the list, like Emma Watson, Diane Kruger, and Leighton Meester. But it seems the mag took a few risks this year, and included some women known for their outlandish wardrobes. Case in point? Lady Gaga and British singer Beth Ditto.
Our very own First Lady made the list at number 14. And we couldn’t agree more with that choice. Her gowns throughout the year have all been stunning and timeless.
But the big winner this year was Alexa Chung! She’s known best for her now-canceled program on MTV, called It’s On With Alexa Chung.
Alexa won the top prize for her “schoolgirl meets grandma” chic and “Brit-girl abroad sense of style.”
Judges at Vogue say, “She won over the U.S. style pundits with her quirky style and kept us on side by staying true to the formula that won her our approval in the first place.”
Here are the top five best-dressed women:
1. Alexa Chung
2. Audrey Tautou
3. Sarah Jessica Parker
4. Cheryl Cole
5. Dannii Minogue

And it was all Sean's idea! He wrote a letter to Anna Wintour expressing his desire to intern. He says sports bore him, and he'd rather be a fashion editor at a magazine.
Apparently he's quite the fashionisto too, taking a lot of pride in his YSL patent leather high tops and Calvin Klein cashmere sweaters. Let's hope Sean doesn't show up with any missing teeth!
