Metallics are back and taking over Hollywood. We saw these trends at NYC fashion week during the display of the Fall 2009 collections. Designer Marc Jacobs was one designer who started the trend. The designer made heads turn when he made a public outing in May with supermodel Kate Moss who was sporting his metallic gold creation at The Metropolitan Museum Gala in New York City.

Actress Kate Hudson sported a similar Greco-roman metallic gold dress at the same event designed by her bff Stella McCartney.

Singer Fergie looked super fergalicious when she sported a hot green metallic dress when she made an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman. Actress Jennifer Connelly sported a similar dress by Balmain at the Los Angeles premiere of He’s Just Not That Into You .

One of our favorite metallic outfits is the Voom dress that Paris Hilton sported at the Las Vegas premiere of Repo The Genetic Opera. The movie might have not done well but the dress has.
