Demi Lovato Goes Red
Someone said that women who change their hair color often is a sign of emotional insecurity. Using that logic, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga must be sociopaths (okay that’s probably true). Let’s just say that getting a new hair color can signify a change in your life and for Demi Lovato, she just died her hair red to signify her one-year anniversary of getting her life back on track.

Last November, Demi left her tour with the Jonas Brothers because of a nervous break down. She entered a treatment facility soon after and left rehab in January of this year. She seems to be doing great now and what better way to celebrate a fresh start with a new hair color.
Whitney Port Seeing Red!
Whitney Port will no longer be on the receiving end of blonde jokes. Now she’s going to be receiving the red head jokes and we all know there are a lot of those!

Port debuted her new red hair color over the weekend. I am digging the color on Whitney. The red tones look good on her skin complexion.

Whitney officially showed off her new locks at the Night of a Billion Reality Stars event in Los Angeles over the weekend. Judging by her smile, I’m thinking she likes her new hair color as much as I do.

What do you guys think of Whitney’s new look? Do you like her as a blonde or red head?

Bouffant Buns Take Over The Red Carpet
Buns are in this season. And no we’re not talking about the booty, even though having a tight bun is always in style.

We’ve been seeing bouffant buns make a very big splash on the red carpet this season. Vanessa Hudgens and Whitney Port have got the cute bun down.

The Bouffant bun looks good when it’s not so huge! Take example from Jennifer Lopez and Sarah Jessica Parker. Those two women sported extremely large buns and it just looks bad. The bun looks bigger than their heads, which is not so sexy.

Both tight buns or loose buns looks great, just don’t make it larger than your head.
Whitney Port Vs. Kelly Rutherford: Trench Coat Cuties
Summer may seem like it’s right around the corner, but June is one of those transitional months where it could be 90 one day and cold and 60 the next!

Having a light jacket to wear around town is essential for this wishy-washy weather, and we’re obsessed with this updated and feminine trench coat!

Who Rocked the Frock: Audrina Patridge Vs. Carmen Electra

The deconstructed trench is Ann Taylor, who has recently upped their game and gotten really cute stuff, and is 100% silk.

Whitney Port loosely tied the jacket with a shift dress and suede boots while heading to a meeting in Soho.

Kelly Rutherford kept it casual by pairing the trench with a ruffly blouse and dark denim cigarette jeans. The mom of two is a big fan of the collection, and sat front row at the Ann Taylor "See Now, Wear Now" runway show last year.

We love Kelly’s look, because it’s timeless and women at any age can pull it off! But you tell us who rocked the trench better!

Country Chic is in for Spring
Spring is here, which means it's time to bury the sequined tops, skirts and dresses, and update your closets with what’s in this season. The “must have” trend for this Spring is florals!

One of our favorite stores, H&M, has dedicated a fully-sustainable line in honor of this big look called the Garden Collection. The collection boasts 80 gorgeous items and 10 accessories all under $59.95! Not only does it look nice, but it's affordable as well, which is always a plus in our recessionista books!

Think country and you’ll be right on track to one of the hottest looks for Spring/Summer 2010. What’s great about this look? Its fun and flirty which can bring any girl in touch with their femininity.

Don’t be nervous—florals are easier to pull off than you think! Sure, you won’t look as flawless as Kate Moss. But our advice is to add some fun accessories to break up all the flower power.

Here are a couple celebs who have totally nailed the floral look:

Check out Demi Lovato in her Ami floral dress ($27.99). She added a cool touch to her outfit by sporting rocker shades and wearing a tulle undercoat.

If you’re into a classier look, check out Elizabeth Hurley's David Meister floral cocktail dress. It’s simple, yet chic but gets the look down. Other stars that are a fans of this country chic include style icon Diane Kruger and Whitney Port.

Whitney Port Gets Sued
Whitney Port’s success in the fashion industry has taken off since she left The Hills and got her own show The City. She’s even launched her own line—Whitney Eve—that’s been a decent hit!

But Whitney just ran into a little setback. She’s being sued by fellow designer Adrienne Baravetto, who says she aided in the launch of Whitney’s line in 2007, when it was called Eve and A. Accoriding to court papers obtained by TMZ, Baravetto says she had an oral agreement with Port and her father, including a $80,000 yearly salary plus a 25 percent stake in the company.

Baravetto also alleges that she did the majority of the design work and that the Ports haven’t paid her anything! Baravetto’s attorney Peter Maretz says, “Ms. Baravetto did the heavy lifting for these designs and she just wants to get paid fairly.”

But Whit’s lawyer Michael A. Taitelman tells People, “The lawsuit that Adrienne Baravetto filed on March 19, 2010 against Whitney Eve, Inc., Whitney Port and others regarding the Whitney Eve clothing line is baseless and without merit. Whitney Port is, and always has been, the designer of Whitney Eve. Baravetto worked for Whitney Eve for a short period of time ending in early 2008. For more than two years, she has been silent. For reasons that we will uncover, she has decided to make these unsubstantiated allegations at this time. The defendants will vigorously defend themselves, and upon the successful conclusion of this lawsuit in their favor, they intend to hold Baravetto and her counsel accountable for their reckless conduct.”

This seems a tad fishy, especially because Whitney’s brand is called something completely different now! We certainly hope she’s not the type of person to screw the underdog. Whitney was lucky enough to land a gig on The Hills, which made her famous in the first place!
Alice + Olivia Opens Pop-Up at Scoop NYC
Just in time for the holidays, one of Hollyscoop’s favorite clothing lines has opened up a pop-up store at Scoop in New York City!

The new collaboration was kicked off last Friday evening with the opening celebration of alice + olivia by stacey bendet's pop-up shop. Hosted by designer Stacey Bendet and NYC's hottest socials including Tinsley Mortimer, Dabney Mercer, Dylan Lauren, and Eleanor Ylvisaker, just to name a few, a + o was the place to be.

As DJ Harley Viera-Newton & Cassie Coane played some of the hottest songs, Tinsley and friends arrived wearing a + o party dresses, sipping cocktails while filming for Tinsley’s new CW11 reality show. Meanwhile, Gossip Girls’ Kelly Rutherford graciously posed for the cameras while doing holiday shopping for her little ones.

Whitney Port's ex best friend Erin Lucas and ex boyfriend Freddie Fackelmayer may have found a new love for one another at the pop-up shop event. Meanwhile, Alexis Bledel sipped on some cocktails and looked through the rack of clothing.

The Upper East Side girls were going nuts for alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet. From sequin tops to leather leggings flying off the shelves, these “real life gossip girls” scooped up the latest must haves for this holiday season.

Alice + Olivia will be open Mon.-Fri. (11-8); Sat. (11-7); Sun. (noon-6) and all the way through January 1!!Location: 1275 Third Ave., near 73rd St. Photos courtesy of Patrick McCMullan/ Chance Yeh
Whitney Port Shows Off New Designs
Whitney Port is a budding designer, and recently debuted her new collection at Fashion Week in New York. It was her first time showing her collection as a designer, and not working for a designer.

Whitney said at the time, “It’s been crazy. I feel like I can finally take a deep breath.”

And it seems that show in Bryant Park may have boosted Whitney’s self esteem. On last night’s episode of The City. Whit shows her roommate Roxy some new sketches.

Roxy ends up loving all but one—which she compares to “touching a couch”—and sends Whit to show her work to a buyer at Bergdorf Goodman. This is of course being done behind the back of Whitney’s mentor, Kelly Cutrone. And we would not want to be on her bad side!

Check out Whit’s new sketches in this video , and see what comes of them in the upcoming episodes of The City!
The Hills Move To The City

While Heidi and Lauren are trying to patch things up Whitney Port has better things to do...look amazing that is!

Whitney showed up at the US weekly Hot Hollywood party in New York City in a short black skirt, frilly white tank, and great stockings which are gonna be HOT this fall! Make your stockings as funky as possible this fall.

This look is sooooo easy to pull off , and looks great in any season. Who needs the Hollywood Hills, when New York City looks this good.
Heidi Montag And Spencer Comment On Whitney's Line
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are going to be praying for Whitney Port because they're pretty sure her new line of clothing is going to crash and burn. With a price tag of $500 a pop, we should all be praying for Whitney.

Hollyscoop caught up with Heidi and Spencer at Taco Bell for their “Reality Check Challenge,” to get their opinion on their Hills co-stars' new line.

"I don’t think that’s a very smart idea," said Heidi, referring to her price range. "I'm praying for her because I think she needs it," added Spencer.

Unlike Lauren's line, Heidi's collection has actually been selling out in stores nationwide. "I think that was the problem with other peoples lines," Heidi told Hollyscoop. "They're too expensive, especially for what they are and for how much they cost. People are going to spend that much money, they’re most likely gonna buy a huge designer. I think right now it’s just a little silly."

In regards to her line reaching a broader audience, Heidi said, "I want my fans to be able to get it, I want everyone to be able to access it. Fashion is not for the rich, it's for everybody. It's just a fun way to express yourself, if anything it should be affordable for everybody."
