Zac Posen Makes A Big Comeback to New York Fashion Week For Spring 2012 Collection
Zac Posen showed off his Spring 2012 collection during New York Fashion Week to a star-studded crowd. Zac returned to New York as he’s been showing his collections in Paris for the last two seasons.

He famously left New York Fashion Week saying that the people of Paris would understand his clothes better. That was obviously not the case because he returned back to his hometown. Seriously, who better to understand your clothes than your own people?

The good news is that the people of New York welcomed him back with open arms and he ended up getting rave reviews for his collection.

Celebrities like Kelly Osbourne, Leigh Lezark, Ally Hilfiger and Anna Wintour were all sitting front row at the fashion show that took place on an outdoor balcony overlooking the Lincoln Center fountain on Sunday evening.

Karl Lagerfeld and Snoop Dogg to Star in a Rap Video Together
File this under "weirdest fashion collaborations ever," Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld is appearing a rap music video with Snoop Dogg. No, Snoop isn't teaching Lagerfeld how to blow smoke rings or "drop it like it's hot."

Women's Wear Daily reports that Lagerfeld made an early morning appearance at the San Tropez cafe Senequier to film a bit for the music video of a French recording artist Jean-Roch Pedri. Jean-Roch recorded the song with Snoop Dogg, who also appears in the video. The song is called "St-Tropez" and Lagerfeld appears in the video wearing head-to-toe white, because that is his "weekend" outfit.

Helen Mirren: Sassy & Stylish at 65!
And this is how you do it!

Helen Mirren is 65-years old and she works the carpet better than any of the Hollywood youngsters that try so hard to look good.

She attended the Palm Springs Film Festival over the weekend wearing a stunning purple gown.

“It’s Zac Posen,” she told reporters. “But it’s so old, it’s practically vintage!” she laughed.

Helen Mirren is so sassy! I saw her at the Festival and I will be the first to say that she looks amazing both in pics and in person. She looks like she just enjoys life and that energy is definitely expressed when she speaks.

Zac Posen Teaming up With Target
This is one of the most exciting collaborations at Target we’ve ever seen! Designer Zac Posen has teamed up with the discount retailer Target to bring us his fabulous style for a price a lot more people can afford!

The line will be featured in Target stores from April 25th through May 30th. The clothes are mostly dresses, however there are a few casual looks and swimwear.

Highlights include a sleeveless floral mini with a massive side bow ($74), a well-cut purple polka-dot number with thick seams ($39), and the long printed gown at left ($69).

Swimsuits come in gold lame ($40) and tie dye (so do tees), skirts are basic black in flouncy cuts ($40) and Zac’s even included a slim black suit ($90).

The price range is from $19.99 to $79.99. Compare that to Zac’s normal price point of anywhere between $900 and $12,000 and that’s a steal!

This isn’t Zac’s first time designing for Target; in 2008 he created a collection for Australian Targets that included red-carpet gowns, short dresses and tailored pants.

In addition, Zac is working on a new collection called Z Spoke, which will be sold exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue and include cotton tees for $78 and knit dresses for $675.

Mark your calendars for April 25th because you know Zac’s Target collection will fly off the racks! Check out the collection below.

Nicole, Tori and Alicia Do Zac Posen!
Zac Posen debuted his fall ‘09 collection in front of a star packed audience that included the likes of Tori Spelling, Alicia Keys, and Nicole Richie.

Even with these stars in the audience there was major wattage missing from Posen's collection. The collection was made up of over the top pieces that looked as if they were lost in a costume shop at a Community Theatre.

The clothes ranged in color, mostly relying on light metallics, and Posen relied heavily on the use of shoulder pads.

When Posen's clothes are photographed out and about, they are usually on A-list women delivering heavy Hollywood Glamour. Sadly though, there was not one piece in this collection though that looked current and or glamorous.

DGA Fashion Roundup!

The A-listers were out on the town this weekend for the 61st Annual Directors Guild Awards in Los Angeles.

Claire Danes marched down the red carpet in a gorgeous navy blue Temperley London dress with embellished straps. As if the front was not enough, Daines dazzled with a cut out back.

Making a departure form her frothy Sag Award choice, Freida Pinto rocked it in a short Zac Posen minidress. The star looked more like a Glamazon than a Slum Dog in this metallic cocktail dress.

Amy Adams looked a tad washed out in this champagne colored Jasmine di Milo dress with some serious crystal detailing.

Making a rare public appearance, Jodie Foster stepped out for the big event looking great in basic black.

Marisa Tomei played it safe this time in a white Dior gown, letting her accessories do all the talking!

If this was the DGA's we cant wait for the Oscars! See y’all on the red carpet!

P. Diddy Supports Zac Posen

Sean P. Diddy Combs must be a big fan of designer Zac Posen. Instead of doing last minute preparations for his fashion show which will take place on February 8, 2008 in New York, he decided to stop by and check out the collection.

The only problem is the line is made for women, unless P. Diddy has a special someone in mind he wants to get a gown for. Perhaps Diddy has Posen in mind to design his own collection for next season? Maybe e's really into Posen's sexy, sheer gowns.
